HALL OF FAME
FS Foundation Sire - Registered Australian Stock Horse Stallions registered in the first ten years (Registration Numbers 1 – 65,000) with over 1,000 registered Australian Stock Horse descendants within 5 generations.
IS Impact Sire - Registered ASH Stallions that are progeny of Foundation or Impact Stallions and registered in the first ten years (registration numbers 1 – 65,000) with over 1,000 Registered ASH Descendants within five generations; or ASH Stallions registered after first 10 years (registration numbers over 65,001) with over 1,000 Registered ASH Descendants within five generations.
FM Foundation Mare - Registered Australian Stock Horse Mares registered in the first ten years (Registration Numbers 1 – 65,000) with over 500 registered Australian Stock Horse descendants within 5 generations.
IM Impact Mare - Registered ASH Mares that are progeny of Foundation or Impact Mares and registered in the first ten years (registration numbers 1 – 65,000) with over 500 Registered ASH Descendants within five generations; or ASH Mares registered after first 10 years (registration numbers over 65,001) with over 500 Registered ASH Descendants within five generations.
HSH HERITAGE STOCK HORSE
Is recognised as the highest standard of Australian Stock Horse breeding. A horse shall exhibit a minimum of 87.5% Australian Stock Horse heritage lineage, meaning the horse is a descendant of either the same breeds of horses ridden by the Australian Light Horse in World War I, or breeds existing in Australia prior to 1945.
COMPETITION STATUS
Horses with Competition status “Not Eligible” or “Deceased”, are NOT eligible to participate in events restricted to Registered Australian Stock Horses. Such horses may be deceased, owner unfinancial, transfer not finalised, foal recorded, suspended, not registered or registered for breeding purposes only.
SIRE REGISTERED
In the case of the sire being an ASH registered parent, the sire must be Sire Registered in accordance with the rules at time of service. Sire Registration rules for time of service are as follows:
· From 1st August 2004 must be Sire Registered and DNA profiled.
· From 1st August 2019 must be Sire Registered, DNA profiled and 6-panel Genetic Disorder Tested.
The sire registration is SUSPENDED if not compliant with these rules.
